The highest decision-making body between meetings of the World Congress is the International Committee. It is elected by the World Congress from representatives of the sections. It meets once a year.
The Bureau meets between International Committees in order to oversee the implementation of decisions. The Bureau is accountable to the International Committee for the decisions it takes.
The 2020 IC could not take place because of the Covi-19 pandemic. The Bureau decided to publish certain of the documents prepared for the meeting that contribute to ongoing discussions.
